The goverment gone bust, local buisiness shut up due excessive taxation, the roads covered in donkey muck as no one can afford to run a car, Greeks will have all the exchange land back due to Talet selling the country out, and will be pushing TCs back to the isolated villages they were in, in the 70s.

No electric as no one can afford it. Mass unemployment as the goverment can't afford to subsidise the goverment workers any longer. Rubbish piled higher than it is at the momment.House prices crash as no one wants to be here

But on a brighter note, the interest rate may be better, and they might have started work on the Port Cyprium Marina, even though there will only be room for 6 boats.

Maybe I'm an agency reporter, previously trained in psychological operations and information warfare, who gets some cracking online entertainment when I really should be working. Ask yourselves which part/s of that may be true...

NC advocates have to be registered with the NC Law Society, pay indemnity insurance to compensate for negligence and can be struck off.

Hi rtddci,

yes of course, I cannot see it getting bad there, just think it will take time, I could of put 10 years time but that is a big gap, just wanted to no short term, with all these people moving there it is a big boost for them like you say, then also you have people who are working there and they pay money in to this so it can only be good.

Ishmail loved some of your post it made me smile - especially as british gas have just announced another 15% price hike in UK

but you really should not go on all the time about moaning english only some moan for no reason and use these boards to keep stirring things, lots have legit concerns and complaints

And for as for pike - well he looks at everything thru greek testicles (sorry spectacles - typo)

also happy to live in the safe area

hi

i cant really see how or understand in 5 years kktc will be like cyprus and not like turkey!!!!!!

even if cyprus does get resolved, im not mistaken that thenorth speak the same language follow the same religion (those who do) eat the same food, have the same traditions

wot i do see thou which has started already a influx of jewish and russian investors, if not carefull club 18-30's aswell the lower quality of tourist (not that im being a snob) house prices will soar and hopefully the syatem will be more simple

lets pray and hope it does not loose its quality and the north does not loose its appeal

Erkan

Couldn't agree more shame of the thing is we have a lot of the lower end here already, some bought places they are now realising they cant afford, others are here renting accommodation, getting pi**ed every day annoying others who want to enjoy the island and the local people, working illegally to survive, depriving legal people of work doing taxi runs etc -all these having been covered to different degrees on this and other boards already, my angle is that I would like to see a solution based on the 2 federal states with compensation being paid by both sides governments to the other in settlement of property issues, then free trade being fully allowed throughout, a firm line taken on tourism and property issues and definately no 18/30 we want the island to keep as much of it's appeal as possible

witchfinder,

we actually had a truck load of ungreen water yesterday and a poolman on site. He says we maybe able to use it in a week. He hadn't been round to attend to the pool earlier as "guess what? 10 out of 10 your right, he hadn't been paid" The only reason he got his money is, the local council threatened to pump out the pool for being a health hazard and send the builder the bill. He also told me the electric guys will not return until they have been paid in full.
