| Are we really surprised in light of all the recent abuses of human rights going on here. I am so sorry for the genuine TCs' they deserve recognition, but and I again say, ROC are right in calling us a Pseudo state, or a Banana Republic |

| This would be a blow to NC. First the direct flights and now direct trade. Hopefully, the TC's know who is keeping them impoverished. Imagine if the TC's could fill up their hotels with tourists, there would be lots of money coming in to the system. Imagine if they got recognition for their universities. Students could fall in love with the country and invest here. etc Of course, I am fully aware that the TRNC creates allot of it's own problems, like inadequate property laws etc, however, if the world treats them like a pariah unable to tap in to the global system then a banana republic is what you can expect. |
