Anyone else had problems with Premium bonds?

I just thought I'd mention that you can check online if you've won. During the past three years, four

winning cheques have gone astray.

No explanation, just re-issued cheques. If i hadn't checked myself, I would have received nothing.

Has anyone else had the same problem?, I dread to think the amount of unclaimed prizes that have

gone astray.

I've just received a reply, suggesting that the cheques have been lost in the post,again.

I now need to write to them, giving my details and a signature.

Mmmmm.....if the cheques got lost, will my signed letter arrive......

I check mine on line and to date have not had a problem. My winning tickets are displayed in my own list each month and then the cheque follows to my home address a few days later.
