Excellent Hans, It brings me back to my (recent) youth when I freely passed up and down these sad streets during my Blue Beret days. Top class photos. DD

Very poignant! I love the 360 degrees effect. Fantastic! DC, could you please tell which software did you use for 360 view? I have an excellent panoramic photo from the top of St. Hilarion and think it would be nice to have 360 - view.

Clarissa2, 360 degrees photographs (actually they become movies after the photographing) are made with a very expensive Nikon rotating camera and a special lens. First four horizontal (90 degrees), slightly overlapping photographs are made. Next step is a photograph of the sky, ceiling or whatever above the camera. Next one of the bottom where the camera is standing on a tripod. The pictures are then stitched (software) on a Mac with lots of memory. Last thing to do is remove the tripod (Photoshop CS5) from the last picture in the movie. We made some 360 degrees movies in St Hilarion and I'll look them up for you on one of my hard drives with pictures. If you want to see more of Bo de Visser's work: http://www.prorama.nl (the site is in Dutch, but easy to navigate).

Re : Msg 6, Dear DC, thank you very much for the info. It looks like my 360 - degrees photos will have to wait. Better left for the professionals! I've only done two 90-degrees stitches of the castle. Thanks for the website. I have no problems reading it in Dutch. Clarissa
