Hearing aid problems

Sorry if this has been covered before but, does anyone know where in TRNC a friend can get her hearing aid repaired? She has tried replacing the batteries as this was the obvious option but it seems a bit more serious. Thanks in advance for any help.

There is a place in Lefkosa which has been recommended many times on the board. If you search for digital hearing aids you will find the threads. Not used him myself - yet - but he does come with lots of recommendations.

The man you want is Mr Said and his phone number is 0392 227 1992. AHe speaks very good English and he not only repairs hearing aids, but tests hearing and supplies new ones if required. He is a good, fair honest man.

His address is Kyrenia Gate which is the road up from Kyrenia Gate at the entrance to the old town. Except that as you get to the top it wonds left. But another facility that Mr Said offers is that if you wish you canput the aid in a taxi and he will repair and return without your having to go to Lefkosia.



Do give him a ring. He closes for lunch from about 1 to 2.30 but otherwise open.

Good. I am sure they will not be disappointed. He has kept my husband able to hear my nagging for about 10 years!
