The new Liverpool owners, whilst being naive about footballing matters, have looked to other countries for a

" template ".

Italy ticked most of the boxes, and Milan in paritcular.

Work will soon start on the new shared stadium, and at last Liverpool & Everton have agreed on one thing....

The name...it will be called

The " San Giro "

Based on their Red Sox ownership, I find it far more likely they will renovate and expand anfield than build a new ground. I can't imagine it would be more difficult to do than Fenway.

That won't be a problem.

Everton will be in the Premiership

Liverpool in the Championship (or lower).
