It's a board and it's black. White boards are called whiteboards are they not? If blackboard is racially offensive then so is whiteboard.

On a tangent, why call Christmas Lights winter lights, or Christmas winterval. Even the Muslim council of Great Britain (and the Jewish equivalent) have said they have no objection to Christmas being celebrated, they enjoy it.

I fancied some blackjacks today so went out with the kids and got some. Then we had a nice lunch at the Black Olive they do a lovely black coffee. Then we went to a pub to watch the game Blackburn were playing against Sunderland. The kids had orange juice and I had one of Stellas Black Beers. The game finished and we left, outside it was black as anything well it was 12am. We couldnt find the car as its black but eventually we found it. By the time I got home the kids were asleep on the black seat. I pulled up outside my house and was surprised to see there were no lights on and then I realised there must be a blackout. When I eventually got inside my wife gave me a fright, well I couldnt see her in the dark as she is nigerian but then se smiled.

There are things about the UK that I do miss, my friends, the Lake District (where my family lives). A Nice cold winter (for a few days though), thats about it.

Nasty cold weather front moving south over UK and western europe at mo, snow expected in Scotland.
