Today is "World's Statistics Day" (an initiative of UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon) and for many universities and other institutions this is the day to publish interesting surveys/statistics. Here's an interesting survey from the University of Melbourne: Holland (again) has the best pension system in the world, nine out of ten Dutchmen build up a private pension and the pension funds are relatively the richest in the world. Switserland is nr 2 on this list and Sweden nr 3.

By the way: from a recent survey in European countries: England is the worst country to live in.

Any other interesting surveys/statistics?

Here's another interesting statistic:

Did you know that Holland has the highest museum density in the world - approximately 1000 museums?

I think that's very interesting indeed

Yenibob, what do you mean by "dump"? Were you ripped off buying drugs? You should have asked a policeman. They all speak English and will be pleased to direct foreigners to reliable drugs dealers.

P.S. Most (young) Brits know this - they make up for 80% in the Red Light district of Amsterdam, where the best drugs are for sale (very competitive prices).

P.P.S. It's the same Amsterdam district where you'll find the "National Hasj Museum". No kidding.

A businessman boards a flight and is lucky enough to be seated next to an absolutely gorgeous woman. They exchange brief hellos and he notices she is reading a book about sex and sexual statistics.

He glances over nervously before plucking up the courage to ask her about it.

She replies, "This book is all about sexual statistics, it's fascinating! It identifies that American Indians have the longest average penis and Polish men have the biggest average diameter... By the way, my name's Jill. What's yours?"

"Tonto Kowalski, nice to meet you." he replies.

RE msg 6, hwilde: (...) Useful statistics wanted! What percentage of DutchCrusaders threads are of any use at all? (...)

=> I must congratulate you on your C44 membership, which is now older than one month. And most of your 36 posts are about me or aimed at me (statistics, but not fully checked)! There have been members who did better, but the way you copy and paste nonsense and avoid anything (interesting) about North Cyprus is impressive. Since you joined the board has greatly improved.

You really are deluded if you believe that, look again. But, why would you care even if it were true , 99% of your posts are mere attention seeking.

=> Well, you obviously don't but most people on C44 know how to avoid subjects they don't want to read: don't click on the subject title.
