I think you must mean Paphos.... Your appeal to the readers' emotions might get answered.... From Esentepe I would over the mountains to the Beyarmudu/Pyla crossing and follow the signs. But it depends on your starting point.

You have 2 choices here. Down to Nicosia and join the motorway system. The advantage is that you are on dual carriageway for the entire journey from Kyrenia (if that's where you are) apart from a few miles in Nicosia. The alternative is down to the new crossing point and take the coast road through Pomos and Polis. More twisty turney, but dual carriageway as far as Guzelyurt unless you prefer to stay on the northern coast road. Journey time to Polis is 2Hrs 40Min unless you get held up by traffic in the Nicosia area. If you stay on the coast road the journey is about 20 minutes longer, but 8Km shorter. Paphos is, I think, about 30 minutes beyond Polis, so the total journey time will be about the same, whatever route you take. So the decision you have to take is steady, boring, and 5th gear most of the way, or having to work most of the way with interesting scenery and plenty of places of interest and refreshment stops all the way. Let us know and we'll do directions for you.

Added. Just a thought. If you haven't done the Nicosia crossing before, it's easy to get lost on the way back. Particularly if doing it at night.

Also, have you got the MOT for the south side as you can only get this at the Metehan crossing... and they have office hours.
