just had a e mail about some unusual benefits of wd 40 and one that i thought might be of interest to some of you is it keeps pigeons off balconies they hate the smell. some others are if you spray some on fishing bait it helps catch fish, keeps bathroom mirror from fogging, restores vynyl bumpers and for the darts league restores and cleans blackboards

It is a great product - check out the wd40 web site as you will be surprised at what it can be used for. BTW dont fancy catching / eating fish that have been gobbling on wd40 though

Amazing stuff. Tell you what else it's good for - if you've got a cooker, fridge, cooker hood, etc. that's stainless steel, you'll probably know how hard it is to get the smears off after you've cleaned them. Apply some WD40 to a piece of kitchen roll and wipe over the surfaces - smear and smudge free!!

I've been told its good to spray on painful joints and brings some relief. BUT I've never tried this !!!! Plus it's quite smelly if you suffer from Asthma.

Don't know which size tin Tenakoutou bought, but just googled it out of curiosity and a 420ml tin in Homebase costs £4.89, so not cheap here any more, either.
