jock1, I am one of those really annoying people who support a different team to the one they live near. In actual fact my home team would be Inverurie locomotives Works Football Team but they are a little non-discript so I grew up supporting the hoops and still do even after today, got beat by the better teams referee payment today but I am not bitter at all, really. Anyway, please excuse me while I go and set fire to myself for having to wear orange overalls at work

Actually no but it could have been, it is a mum and dad got divorced thing and as a 12 year old I decided to support the team my dad hated the most but that was Rangers and then I would have got beat up by everyone at school for being the only rangers fan, there were a few hoop fans though, because of religion so I joined them. Seemed like a good idea at the time and have been supporting them ever since. My opinion is that you support the team you would like to see play and for me that has always been the hoops.

The biggest irony ever was after supporting through the dreaded 9 in a row for Rangers I got attacked by some young drunk kids in a pub in Aberdeen for being a glory hunter the year we won and stopped the run That is football for you

We can only look forward to the 1st day of the New Year.

Hopefully, by then, the "mighty rangers" will be in liquidation, and we'll have a day off!

Or, the "Honest Mistakes" will have been brought to an end, and a new regime will be in place within the SFA; that may even start tomorrow!

Blackpool Fan, GTF with your bigotry!!!!

Please give me your interpretation of "god save the queen" in this context! Actually, you may well be right - maybe it was not anything other than an example the usual utterances of the many knuckle-draggers currently fouling web-sites the world over!

he may be a knuckle dragger, don't know the guy, but God save the Queen is not bigotry - bigotry is a statement displaying intolerance to the opinions/beliefs of others

Politico, if you are unfamiliar with the ravalry and the taunts between Rangers and Celtic supporters then you can be forgiven for disputing HotHippo's statements if however you are familiar with them then stop antagonising, it will not do anybody any favours in the end

Celitc and Rangers games are not shown live in N. Ireland, to many it is more than just a game between these two teams ,and can spark of a lot of trouble, but they have never needed an excuse for a riot in Belfast.

I'd much rather that you had said what you wanted to say about the football game, and left it at that.

Get on with the real world now, and let this thread die.

rowlo, can I lmfao when you do finally lose one, hopefully to us i the new year. I know I can't now because as you very proudly and quite correctly say have not lost a game this season, we are a little worse off but only just. Congrats to Rangers for that and now if you will excuse me I need to go and boil my hands in acid for just typing such a terrible thing

I can only hope rowlo, by the way, give bpfan a nudge will ya, giving us the god save the queen crap and then getting all defensive when we get upset about it. If it had said Glasgow rangers fan in the name I would be more uderstanding but Blackpool are not really known for the loyalism and hence when posted, it is an obvious dig.

OK, warring factions over. It is just a game, OMG, I will get crucified just for typing that. Biylin the heed as we speak.

As I red in an e-mail today, half of this game is 80% mental and you should always remember that it is a game of 2 halves.
