At the end of the Grand Prix, wife gone out, no food in fridge very little open so went to get a take-a-way from Flippers.

Big mistake.

The chips weren't cooked enough, tasted rancid and were very greasy.

The fish was full of bones and the batter was limp to say the least, the base of the batter had a black substance sticking to it. Urgh!

Even the dogs thought twice about eating it.

Never again.

As Michael Winner would say 'historic' but for all the wrong reasons. Not having a good day by thesounds of it.

We eat there too, just 2 days after they opened,

Meal came, chips lukewarm cod OK, but one had some bones in it.

Cook asked if everything was OK?

I said chips were a bit on the cool side.

Cook claimed chips made same time as fish

So no change, not been back since.

we went when it was first open and the food was fine. sounds like its gone down hill since then.

It has got better give it another go, i was their last night ok its no Cod Baba but it might be a case of vintage wine it can only improve with age!!
