Fantastic day with Yeni Erenkoy Donkeys

What a fantstic time we had today with the rescued Yeni Erenkoy Donkeys. We adopted one called George, he is Blind. all the donkeys are named after Royalty, There is ours George, Anne, William, Harry, and camilla. We took pictures of them and fed them sugar lumps, carrots, beetroot, and Polos, We went to look at the new place that is being prepared for them, it is lovely. They will be so happy there. We presented a cheque to David the Donkey keeper, for 400tl, 300tl is part of what we raised from our stall at Zeytinlik, and the other 100tl is from our club members who give generousely every week. We are now going to try to raise enough for all their winter feed.



There will be photo's shown on Facebook shortly of the Donkeys. We also met really nice genuine people who are helping the Donkeys.

Thank you for allowing us to visit them. it was very rewarding. KLDS

I would love to visit the Rescued Donkeys next time I am in Cyprus. Can anyone visit and if so, how do you go about it/ get in contact?
