read in todays sunday express . leptos construction want to build a city in a city near larnaca

on a 1.1million sm plot. (750 donums) . float the company on the stock market to raise the

money to build it.

if some of this land is turkish owned , surely it must be ilegal to do this

I would have thought any company involved in a project that big would have contacts somewhere in positions of influence.

If they are building on TC land (and it sounds like this is not sure yet) there is every possibility that they have been tipped off about the talks outcome from that side, and they know it's heading for an agreed partition soon.

Maybe?
