With winter coming does any one no where I can get a rain sill for my front door? We are going back to the UK for a while and do not want to leave it with the bad weather coming. I can not seem to find anything that works to stop the rain coming in. Any ideas?

So not available here then! Pity as there is obviously a gap in the market. Hopefully one of the yapis will cotton on and start selling them.

We have a home made one fitted, just wood which we screwed into place and then silicon. Worked earlier this year when we had the heavy rain.

It may not be the prettiest solution, but the plastic edging strip usually used round a bath can be fixed to the bottom of the door. The featheredge seal at the top takes rainwater onto the curved plastic, and the seal at the bottom flexes, brushing over some of your floor as you open the door. Not as good as a proper storm seal, but it would help until you can source one.

You can also get them made for you from marble/travertine if you measure and draw it for them.
