Hi there,



Can anyone please explain whether the Utilitiy companies [electric and water] can instal meters with only one owner of the property being present?



I'm not sure I can travel out with my husband to do things like this so;

would it be a problem or should we get another POA with our lawyer for them to do it for us?



Practicalities are be so annoying!

Your husband can do it with out you. The lawers dont want to do it even with poa.

Our lawyer, Naomi Mehmet will do it for £100 POA £75 to their rep. Just wondering if it would be easier [and heaper] to do it by ourselves i.e just husband.

Thats cheaper than than cost of flights for him so sounds good to me.
