What would you say the average cost would be for a 3 bed villa with pool. I was paying 130ytl but this month the bill is 370ytl and that is not using air con just fans and the usual items.

My latest bill dated 25/08/2008 shows the first three price bands in YTL as: -

0.304099

0.388799

0.418667

Note that the number of units allowed in each price band is calculated as follows: -

(number of days between readings X 8.3333)

So if the meter is read on the same date each month, the number of units allowed at each rate would always be either:

28 x 8.3333 = 233 or

30 x 8.3333 = 250 or

31 X 8.3333 = 258

However, because of weekends, holidays etc, the meter reading date varies occassionally from month to month, so you do find the number of units used at each rate varying as well.

For a very clear explanation (by abbeyscruffy) of the 'extras' - surcharges, tax etc, on the bill, see here: -

It seems to differ depending on where you are located. My friend's recent bill (20/08/08) at Patara City in Kyrenia has the lowest rate at 0.296353. Don't know the others because all units were in lowest category.
