Not the whole truth,



Activists claimed the mobile phone giant had dodged a £6bn tax bill, but the firm rejected this and said it had no idea where the figure had come from.



HM Revenue and Customs spokesperson told Sky News the figure was an "urban myth" stemming from a case earlier this year.



In July Vodafone agreed to pay HMRC £1.2bn to settle a long-running dispute over a tax assessment, despite having put aside £2.2bn to cover it.
