Had a nice meal there last night, even though we had some rain. It was such a shock when the bill arrived and they charged 8tl (£3.50) for a bottle of Carlsberg, that is more expensive than the Dragon at the Rocks Hotel. I know you are thinking I must of seen the drinks prices, but they don't show you, they ask you what you would like, so no way did I think a beer would be that over priced. I have many times had a drinks bill for wine higher than the food bill, but a bill for beer,never.

I don't suppose there is a recession in China so they don't know any different here yet.

If you think thats a bit steep, a couple of years ago my parents when to Mosquito bay holiday complex and were charged 5tl for a can of coke.



Don't mind paying that sort of price now but back then it was a bit extortionate.

2 years ago I was charged 7tl for efes in Chinese house, they are a rip off. IMO they use far to much carrot to bulk out the dishes and being an ex prison officer caterer I know all about that sort of thing.
