Been there today and we both went for the roast chicken, roast potatoes, cauliflower, stuffing, peas, carrots and cabbage, all for 15tl. There is also a choice of about 5 other different meals. This is the best value on the island, unless you know different, and if so please post where, so we can try it. Steve

Smacks of desperation to me and will attract the freeloaders then when the offer is finished you will never see them again, Oly my opinion but when i visit a restaurant and we are given something unexpected to compliment out meal then that is a place I will go back to time and again Incoming !!

Msg 7 John I dont believe you know the people concerned otherwise you would not have made your ill informed comment Cathy & Roger are two very hard working people who in this time of austerity chose to give a choice of food at non profit prices which in turn increases the turn over of the bar I for one use the bar and will continue too

Agree they should be applauded for trying but will it work and my comment was not ill informed as we all know how hard it is for people in bars/restaurants to make ends meet in TRNC (especially Brits) and plenty would travel 10/20 kms to get two meals for that price, but look at it logically what do you think, would they travel back just to drink at the bar ?? I know what my answer would be. And you only need to look around at the number of places desperate to sell or just closing their doors, I saw this scenario in Spain before and believe its still happening, people buy a bar or restraunt without doing their homework think its a great life in the sun, the guy that sold them it says its a little goldmine (no books) he's heaving a sigh of relief, he got out in time, new owners find they cant pay the bills try to sell it on, cant or maybe at a loss, but theres always another mug out there waiting to try to live the dream, well whatever Only an 'informed' opinion
