we went along last night not knowing what we were going to see but i must say pleasantly surprised, we had a good belly laugh with the compere john melville and the idea is for others to get up (like we do for karaoke) and take the mike and tell our best loved jokes. there were a few from the audience that took the mike but if this is to continue on a regular basis (once a month) more of us would get up, i was itching to get up but couldnt think of one joke! i will be prepared next time, it was a nice relaxed evening, we had all ages in our group (no children though) and we all came away with the same thoughts, what a blinking good night!!! well done john melville and the corner bar as they came out with nibbles and snacks for everyone, the tables were waited on with plenty of staff at hand, the night was in aid of the wheelchair charity but you were not obliged in any way to donate, if you enjoyed yourself you gave a little but no pressure. |

| Yes we went!! and it was a great night, the compere held it all together and was very,very, funny!
