I received my electric bill today and am paying builders rate which has risen again! This month it is 0.922016 per unit. Is anyone else paying this rate and how many more rises is there going to be. This is getting ridiculous !

We have, and until our site is finished we can't do anything, our site is registered with the PCO and the new initiative just started by Marion at the HBPG. We were spending £100 a week renting a property before we moved in, so in a way the electric is a cheaper option, but that isn't much consolation when because our site is being run on single phase electric and is supplying three apartments our supply is very limited, ie if someone switches a kettle on, the power dips elsewhere. But hey ho, things can only get better, well we continue to hope so.

Why is builders electric different rates? Surely it should be the same for anyone on builders electric.
