Fantastic Meal at Efendi Restaurant last night!

After having a really average meal a few months ago at Efendis, we went last night as we were told that Andy is back in the kitchen,



And it was FANTASTIC!!!!!



I highly recommend it to anyone that enjoys top class food with a wonderful atmosphere.



Well done to Andy and his staff on restoring my faith in Efendis!!!

It really is a great privelige to be creating with Andy, the man is a genius, when it comes to cooking and presenting food on a plate, he is one of the best.



And if you dont believe me, then please dont come, we cannot do any more for you..............

Having booked early at the begining of the week myself and our guests were seated in a room behind the bar away from all the other customers in our opinion this was unsatisfactory.

We were not impressed with the size of the the main course and also the size of the sweet course.

in our opinion it was not value for money.

I know they have lost tables because of the music area and are using an additional room now, did you have a large party Tatty?



The starter, main course and sweet I had was very generous in portion size so I am surprised tatty, will be interested to see what the restaurant says.

Rottolover Efendi is in the Turkish Quarter of Girne ! I turned down a small street (sokak) opposite the law courts past the fire station on right and a couple more rights and there it was ! bit hit and miss but every street looks the same there ! you wont be dissapointed (hope) regards Barry

Ok, not that easy to find first time,



From the Lefkosa roundabout, as most know that, go towards central Girne, ie Colony roundabout, you will see Annibal restaurant on the right about 3/4 the way down the road, straight after turn right, at the end of the short road turn left, Efendis will be on your left on a right hand bend parking is limited but usually can be found fairly close by.

and rich red wine gravy



54 people said it was the best sunday lunch they have eaten





apologies to tattys come again and you will have extra portions if you wish there is no limit at efendis for sunday lunch

if you are still hungry ask for more.. we will gladly oblige

EFENDI - SUNDAY LUNCH

What a meal. Went last Sunday. Had the best sunday scran for a long time. Every thing was top class, plenty to eat, service brill, pudding to die for! Loads of nice drinkies. Price is a little dearer than most but if you want plastic beef , micro veg and smash for spuds then you will pay about 18tl But I dont mind paying for good grub/ service and dont forget the ambiance. 9/10 - one mark because less because too much ice in my gin and tonic. Keep it up Efendi.

Had the Mussels and roast yesterday and still excellent ! great ambience friendly atmosphere and the best duo since Morecombe and Wiise (Andy and Mark) nice people lovely time thank you regards Barry
