My annual visitors visa expires on 30th November, papers submitted to Nicosia to be collected after the expiry date, however, I fly out for a white Christmas a matter of days later. On returning to TRNC today I asked for a 90 day stamp which was given. My question is, does this override my expiry date and be able to collect another years worth (backdated) on my return in March without incurring penalties? Richard

After my experience at Metahan today I wouldn't bank on it. I would check with immigration if I were you.

Simple answer is it does not override your normal expiry date, when you return the new stamp will be back dated. Bl**** Maori's!

Msg 4 Firstly, your reading skills are not worthy of your pseudonym inferring you're a journalist as you haven't answered the question. Secondly, I'm not a Maori but if I was I'd happily put you in the pot or a Hangi and eat you with great relish! Richard
