Looks like another trip to Digiturk cannot turn the box off onto standby or change channels.Cannot get to re install either. Can it be the power cuts we keep having surely both the remotes cannot have gone wrong at the same time?

i get this at least once a week. the tv screen either freezes or you can't turn on/off or change channels. all i do is turn off/on the electric and it works again, i don't even have to remove the card. haven't a clue why it happens but this works all the time. i know it would only be neccessary to take out the plug to the digi box but as it's a 2 pin and in an awkward place it's less hassel to just turn of the mains. try this next time.

Also try changing the batteries in the remote, that was what was wrong with mine, even though the red light flashed on the remote - the batteries were still dead, put new ones in and it was fine!
