| I paid to have Digiturk installed a year ago and gave the installer details of my HSBC bank A/C. For some reason the payment was never set-up. Having read some of the other posts on this forum I am now quite nervous. I understand that Digiturk own the box and am quite happy to return it. Does this mean they will expect me to pay the subscription from when it was installed, or can I just hand it back? I only come over once or twice a year so think (with the benefit of hindsight) that Sky might be a better bet and I could probably convince others in my apartment block to share the cost. Oh a further issue is that the dish has been mis-aligned by someone using it to attach their washing line! |

| hi nik yes u do have to give the box back to digiturk, firstly did u sign a contract, was you watchig any programs on it if so how long for before it got suspended, the best thing to do is if u got ur contract go down to your local digiturk office and ask if theres any outstanding bill, or on the top left hand corner of ur contract it write uye number write this number down and go down to any local bank and give them this number and they will tell u how much you owe, if you did sign a contract then u r legally binded to pay from contract date if you come over once or twice a year then sky would be a even bigger burden on you if your paying £40 a month, the best solution is the system i talk about and if u want to know anything further look at the satellite section or email me regards ukturk |
