| Do you know how to remove them without damage ? I understand they are glued to kitchen units ?. |

| They are normally stuck down with a mastic or silicone, instead of trying to remove the worktop from the cuboard below, which requires lifting the whole worktop, it will be much easier to raise the whole thing by moving it out an inch or two from the wall, and putting some wooden blocks (maybe 1-2" under the cuboard feet, then removing the blocks from below each cuboard in turn to let the cuboard drop a little, this way you are only having to handle the cuboard which is much lighter, and gravity will assist you. Remember that the cuboards themselves may be screwed together through the sides also so yo may have to remove the screws joining them first. A sharp Stanley or crafting knife may well be enough to break the seal of the mastic/silicone. |
