Does anyone know where i can but amaretti biscuits from i havent seen them in my usual supermarket but maybe someone has on the forum. I need them to make a pasta dish.

| Had no luck finding amaretti biscuits seems you cant find them here, the biscuits that are for sale look like amaretti biscuits but they are not the same. But a big thank you to guido who managed to rustle some up today and saved the day.

| Recipe. Amaretti biscuits.
340gr Ground Almonds 340gr caster sugar. 4 Egg whites. 30mls amaretto liquor. Heat oven to 170c. Beat eggwhites until firm fold in almonds and sugar.Add liquor and make into a paste. Grease some baking parchment with butter and line a flat tray. Usong a teaspoon place small amounts 2cm apart as they spread. Bake for 15mins. |
