I was charged 10% tax on the interest earned for 1year.

I thought it is 8% on it.



Is there anyone who charged 10% on the interest earned in the maturity this month?

yes just checked my accounts, one in lira and the other in sterling, both accounts have had 10% tax stopped. I seem to remember a few weeks ago reading that the tax rate was going up, it seems like it has.
