Pegasus flights summer 2011

Received this today. Have used this agent and they have been good

Pegasus have now announced their Summer 2011 programme. They are continuing to operate one flight a day from Stansted and the flight details are:



Stansted depart 12.50 Ercan arrive 20.40 / Ercan depart 08.10 Stansted arrive 12.10



Prices start at just below £200 low season and just under £300 in August but there are very few seats sold at these fares and they will all be snapped up by early bookers. When seats at these fares are sold out higher fares apply.



Unfortunately no service has been announced from Manchester.



We charge the same as the fares shown on the Pegasus website but if you have booked on the Pegasus website, if you have any subsequent query or amendment you must deal with Turkey, whereas if you book with us you will be dealing with an English Company who speak in English.

The Manchester flights begin in March (Wednesday only) through to Sept. Just booked to return to the UK in May £233 return

Had a look at the website, unless you are travelling from Manchester to Ercan its no good to people who are already here and just want a return flight from this end

Brian Msg 1 - The agent was seemingly late, we have mentioned the flights before (about 3/4 weeks ago) Manchester/Birmingham flights are still in the pot so there might be more departues - until we know we can say no more.

Susan Msg 4 - I have no problem and can book you flight to Manchester from Ercan and rreturn today looking June 8th to 15th for less than GBP 230.00 per person return. (Less for one way of course.)

its all a bit cagey with pegasus at present from manchester .....no information at call centre .



i rang stansted to see if other days of the week would be available from man to ercan .



the desk said a rumour was that manchester to ercan flights would be available at the old cta slot on saturday to saturday ....but would only be as a holiday package and not seats on their own .

Just received today. Hope it helps.

Pegasus Airlines plan to operate 12 flights a week to Ercan North Cyprus. From London Stansted 1 flight will operate via Antalya, 8 flights via Istanbul, and 3 flights via Izmir and all but one of these flights are now bookable. From Manchester to Ercan it is expected two flights weekly will operate via Antalya (Wednesday flight is already booking). These flights will also offer good connections to many destinations in Turkey as well as to Beiruit, Kharkiv, Ukraine and Tblisi. Pegasus also operate from Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester and Birmingham to Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman and Istanbul. The Turkish Airlines Anadolujet service from Stansted to Ercan, which currently requires a change of aircraft, is expected to become a through service stopping at Istanbul (SAW) en route. A cold meal is included in the price and the luggage allowance is 23k + 8k hand luggage. Mainline Turkish Airlines continue to offer services from Heathrow, Birmingham, Dublin and Manchester to Istanbul where connecting flights can be obtained to Ercan. There is still a possibility that Atlasjet might operate a service next summer to Ercan but this has not been confirmed. There is also continuing speculation that another airline might be formed to replace the demised CTA operation but this remains to be seen.

Dave Msg 6 - No truth at present and you know I do not talk rumours.

If anything it was not a Pegasus flight anyway but something else that may come to fruit if a sufficent number of tour operators are happy to take substantial risks.

I am surprised that Transit who are reputable and not often prone to specualtion are effectivley not being cautious in what they are saying and there is quite a lot of specualtion in the messages you have mentioned. For example Pegasus have not yet decided on a second Manchester route nor as I understand it do they have any Birmingham to Ercan plans - so how can any agent or operator say that?

Paul Msg 13 - Trust me the messenger was not shot - I am a little perurbed by Transit who are normally one of the more accurate of my competition on flights. I guess they have been fed some slightly "off" information and all of us can get caught by it.

Have just booked return flight MAN/ECN/MAN for June 2011 with Pegasus Airlines at a cost of £250.00. A bargain as the same journey last year with CTA cost in excess of £400.00.

we have just paid £646 for three of us to ercan from manchester with pegasus ( week before easter) , we used tom at IAH to book it as the pegasus website is not easy to say the least! paid a little bit more by using tom but its still worked out our cheapest ever trip to north cyprus .

Tom without a doubt will take the hassel for you. Everyone i tell and has used him says the same. Only wish he could wave a magic wand and get me back before xmas. Of course he could but sady money prevents it.
