I was going to Girne and driving down hill to the Castle when my brakes failed. I managed to stop using the hand brake. There was brake fluid all over my front nearside wheel. I called a friend who drove his car to meet us and took me to the garage behind Erdener in Karacum. The mechanic dropped what he was doing and got some tools, he then drove me to where my car was. After removing the wheel it was apparent that the brake hose had burst. The mechanic clamped the hose and refitted the wheel and asked me to drive to the garage carefully. When I got to the garage he told me that a replacement hose was not available locally, therefore he would have to go to the main agent in Lefcosia. I left my phone no and my friend took me home. About 2hours later I received a call to say that the car was fixed. I collected it and the cost was 100tl which I thought was very good. I would highly recommend them.

That must have been terrifying. I am glad all is ok. You are right about the garage behind Erdener - they are very good.

If we are talking about the garage to the left of Erdener in between Erdener and China Bazzare that do the emissions test have to agree They sourced and fitted a recon engine for the Pajaro which then blow up after a couple of hundred miles. True to their word they replaced at no cost to me no problem. Always helpful, honest and seem to know what they are doing. Deserve some good publicity

@ gazmufc78 Thanks for the post a friend’s car had the same problem when in my care. I was not sure what to do or who to use. It has just been fixed at Erdener they did it in the afternoon. Needed a little more work than yours as a pump had gone as well the bill was 130tl. I would recommend them too.

Erdeners have always done our services and repairs. Head gasket went just outside Ercan, they collected the car and did repair, very reasonable, would highly reccomend them.
