Hopefully, flaww ( very unfortunate choice of nick) will sort out the legions of other clients who keep posting their extend connections are worse than ever before !

They would like to 'enjoy', too.

What about my VPN connection and all the promised return phone calls which didn't happen, similar to your connectivity?!

Mark

Flawww was on the phone to me at least three times today and promised he'd do his best but seems it's a TRNC telecoms problem through routing. I've been trying to connect all afternoon but my index mouse finger is now very sore! At least I'll get the tennis, starting in a moment but the ashes looks unlikely, I'll just have to sleep!

Hmm, I posed this Q before.. but what is topping a smart TC getting together with a smart GC, forming ( say) UK entities to provide a backbone across the green line from the 'rump' RoC and distributing in the 'north'

If Vodafone can do it in TR/ GR / RoC and 'TRNC' ..... and a Vodafone from UK can roam.....

Just thinking that a bit of EU / UN involvement might not go amiss

Legally all ISPs have to connect through Turkey, otherwise license is revoked.

re msg13

Playing devil's advocate

So could a group of private users share a 2-way sat link? Is a private user 'ok' to use same..?

If what you say is correct then surely Dopi were illegal for having direct links via an EU satellite ?

I am really glad that extend is now getting some positive feedback. we have been with them for 5 years and have had few problems. when we did they sorted them very quickley so thankyou Extend.

We get ours from the Merit which is i supose a good node.

it is good to see that an employee is monitoring this board it is a pity that some other service providers tradsmen estate agents lawers etc dont do the same.

maybe they are very relectant to discuss in the piblic domain.

Again well done Extend you stood up and was counted.

As regards the cricket "early days yet'

Atif has just sorted my VPN, at long last. It was a telecom settings problem. Many thanks!

Mr Flawww - I have been an Extend customer now for nearly 4 years and the service is no better now than when I first started with you. I have phoned your office and been down to your office, dozens and dozens of time in that period, and I have been fobbed off with every excuse known to mankind. I have been lied to MANY times when they have told me an engineer would come to my home and none have appeared. I have been asked to pull the plug out of my computer adaptor for two minutes so many times is is now wearing away.

I have recently started to pay for a 1meg download speed - what am I getting most of the time - about an average of 120k. My programme download speed when a lot of people are seeding should be well over 120 kps - what am I averaging - less than 20 kps. Not good enough Mr Flawww. I am paying for a service that I am not getting. SKYPING the UK at times is impossible.

Give me a call on 0533 830 5374 - going to your office is a waste of time - nobody listens.
