Kuskor (North Cyprus Society for the Protection of Birds and Nature) would

like to invite you to celebrate our 20th anniversary this weekend at;



CYPRUS WILDLIFE: A New Perspective



This event will open on Saturday 27th November at Bellapais Abbey from 3pm

until 6pm. There will be a photographic exhibition where you will be able

to see (and buy!) some great photographs of Cyprus wildlife taken by

various photographers, a raffle, which will include prizes like a 2 night

stay at Bellapais Gardens, a Salsa lesson for two at Cine Miles

Restaurant, a framed picture and more, plus brief presentations about

Kuskor and the Cyprus Nature Library (16:00 on the 27th).



The photographic exhibition (only) will continue until the Sunday 28th

November between 12:00 and 18:00.



So join us to celebrate our anniversary and the wildlife of Cyprus, this

Saturday from 3pm.

Sounds like a great project but unfortunately will not be in the TRNC over the weekend but on my return I will certainly pop into your library to have a look.

You are all aware that some parts of Cyprus are still very beautiful. Kuskor's main objectives are to protect natural habitat, reduce the volume of illegal hunting and trapping and to educate youngsters in the values of environmental protection. We do need local support and would very much like to see as many people as possible in Bellapais Abbey over the weekend. This is a fabulous venue, kindly arranged for us by the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, and we hope to impress you with some equally fabulous photographs of nature, taken in Cyprus.



We look forward to seeing there.

Good morning, Martin! I read about the exhibition in Cyprus Today and now here and in both cases I wished that full details about membership of Kuskor were given. An email address for a start would help! But I'm sure you could give us a complete overview! Thanks in advance - write Trix and me down as new members, please.

Thank you Hans, Ian and susief, I look forward to seeing you in Bellapais either Saturday or Sunday.



Membership is for a year and costs 50 TL. Anyone becoming a member at Bellapais will be a member for the full 2011 year and will also receive a rather splendid nature calendar as part of their membership.



We shall also be selling this 2011 nature calender for 20TL. A number of photographers have donated some beautiful photographs of Cypriot nature . We have had these blown up and they are in fact the exhibition. These will also be on sale. Cost 50TL.
