Friends of mine have just tried to do this and were told by the tax office in Lefkosa that they could only do it for a minimum of 12 months.

Some one posted this week you can tax it for 6 months at a time Bethan does.

Yes you can do it for 12 Months only. If you want to re tax the car before 12 Months finishes (say you have 3 months left) you pay the last 6 months tax(plus Fine for breaking the contract) left on your sorn time.
