Well at least in private the US appear to know who is to blame Pity that its not stated publically to encourage GCs to properly engage in talks process and for EU to apply pressure where it should be i.e on the GCs and not Turkey

Glad someone can see the truth and how the GCs really are. There will never be a solution to so called 'Cyprus Problem' but what problem l like it the way it is!........ Seems to also be a lot corruption on the south lately with TRNC cars being thrashed and the GCs police doing nothing about it.

Turkish leaders got a bashing 'Before leaving for Astana last night she (Hilary Clinton) was due to meet Turkeys foreign minister, Ahmet Davutoglu. Mr Davutoglu is described in one cable as "extremely dangerous", while another contains a US diplomat's assessment of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Turkish prime minister, as lacking vision and analytical depth and surrounded by "an iron ring of sycophantic (but contemptuous) advisers' She can expect a warm welcome then.

Sorry Barnacle, but have to agree with Tracer. The link posted refers to meetings between Under-Secretaries Burns and Sinirlioglu and the views given were the latter's. That said, his "implication" that Talat would be voted out because of TC frustration with the talks could be said to be have been borne out.
