What are the Border Crossing Car Insurance price's???

Hi all,



Can anyone tell me the price of 1 day, 1 week, 1 month etc Car Insurance at particularly the Famagusta crossing but Metahan is also helpful.

I month for a standard car is 25 Euros. Larger vehicles (Pick ups etc) are more.

Insurance is by the month or longer, not shorter.

Thanks yenibob, I remembered there being a 1 week option but they must have thrown that one out.



Has anyone ever got a taxi into Paralimni from the famagusta border? wondering how much that is roughly also.

The 35 Euros may be for a pick-up etc, but for a normal car it is 254 across the board!

As far as I,m aware its 35 euros for a hire car and 25 euros for a private car (We have always been charged 35 euros for as long as I can remember).

Where (To my knowledge) there is a lady who does the insurance or a gent (different company) who also sells it.

If you name a second driver when taking out the insurance you do not pay extra but if you add a second driver after taking the policy out you pay 10tl.

This happened to me.

I concur with Tatlisu4me, price of ins for a hire car and a second person added, also on a hire car.

Must be that a private car is only 25 euros..at least that clears up why we have diff prices stated.
