hi , never really liked colour of my kitchen door fronts and wondered if there is a company in NC that could refinish them , currently imitation beech effect , would love gloss cream. Would paint myself but looking for a profesional finish that dos n't scatch off easily, so needs special undercoat etc. 25doors 8 drawer fronts. Any suggestions welcome .

hi diane, we have had all our furniture made by Vahit Rose. they are situated in a small showroom by the turn off for the Mercure. although we have had pine, i have seen items made in the finish you describe in his showroom. he speaks reasonable english and prices are reasonable but there is always room for negotiation. we have always found him to be very good. he will come and measure anything you need and usually delivers and installs on time. never asks for money upfront either! i do have a phone number for him but find it is better to visit him to ask him to come out and have a look at what we need.

Up the road to Catalkoy (by Supreme) there is a joiners shop on the right hand side .. We had some varnishing of drawers & painting of internal doors .. Very very good ..

The Catalkoy carpenter mentioned above did a superb revamp of a friends kitchen at an incredibly cheap price.

If you want high gloss finish the carpenter in Catalkoy just up from the Fez on the main road to the village on the right side next to a little supermarket, he can do this. He made us a cabinet for the bathroom and then sprayed it in white high gloss paint, which wipes clean and great for the bathroom or kitchen.
