Question for "Helper" Directions to Dr Dimitri

Hi, I have seen you wrote about a Dr Dimitri. I have telephoned him and got an appointment, and he tried to give me directions, but I find it hard enough taking them from an English person, so am really not sure if I understood everywhere he was talking about, especially as it is in Nicosia. If you read this and can give me some directions, I would greatly appreciate it - or anyone else that knows Dr Dimitri. Thanks, Stella

Hi Stella,

Directions are not easy - when I went with my daughter navigating, we got lost but eventually after several calls to Dr Dimitri we got there - easy to find when you know how. Suggest I take you for your first appt then you will be able to fix the route in your mind for further visits. Give me a call on 05338339527 to make arrangements.

Hi sorry, just seen your message. Once you have been there it is easy to find again, Firstly go into Lefkosa one way system take the first left ( before the traffic Lights) almost immediately bear right and keep going straight. Its down there.

The road curves keep going ,bear left at the bottom, into a dead end street, which has large trees. It is a dead end as the army is at the bottom of it, bordering the south side. If you would like I would be happy to go with you and show you the way. His clinic is to the rear of his home. Please let me know if i can help in any way 0533 849 1375 Cheers Olwen

we live in Yesiltepe just opposite denizkizi turn off so not far from you am free Monday and would be more than happy to take you - have to say he is a great doctor although a bit eccentric cured my problem with one visit and special medication from Japan - in uk suffered for months with no relief

Thanks so much for your directions, but now I am confused as they are totally different from Dr Dimitri. Allowing for the fact that I can only honestly say I only know the road from the roundabout where the big hospital is, I can only go with directions from their. His were, past the hospital, going thru various traffic lights until come into road widening section. Go into middle lane, then right lane and go right. Immediately take next left, and then turn right. Will see Nicosia Park. Follow straight on road past petrol station and come to a stadium on the left. His house is oppose no. 6. I think he said Karaoganoglu Street. Unfortunately, when you say go into Lefkosia one way system I have no idea where you mean.



I really appreciate yours and Mike's help, but I will see what happens at the hospital this afternoon. Will be in touch.

Morning, I know what you mean, finding anywhere in Lefkosia is a nightmare. Good luck at the hospital. Due to an unforeseen problem, i will now be busy on Monday, hopefully Mike can go with you, if my plans change i will let you know. Olwen

Put Demitri's address in (26 Karaoglanoglu Caddesi) in on Google Earth and print out a map of the area. Not at all difficult to find this way.
