Hi everyone!

I am trying to plan a nice weekend (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) full of activities, as my boyfriend is around and it is his first time in Cyprus. He enjoys extreme activities, so paragliding was first on the list, but unfortunately they dont do it around this time :(.. clubbing is also on the list, however I don't know which clubs around Kyrenia are good these days, (by good I mean, no fights, and good music - not techno all the time or turkish). I will definitely be taking him to Tango to Buddha, but beside that.. what are the things you all would advise me to include in the plan?! Your help will be much appreciated!

thank you!

How long has it been since you last saw him?

This forum's favourite Australian bard can offer some corker advice in this catchy little ditty:

Unfortunately, you'll have to substitute 'Marmite' for the good ol' 'Down Under' 'Vegemite'!

I omitted to mention [for British folks] that a 'ute' is better known in Cyprus as a 'double cab'!

If you haven't seen him for a year you don't need to be going out!

that IS on the agenda, however I'd like to show him around, as I dont think he will come to Cyprus again he's gotta enjoy the place, so he has plenty of things to talk about once he goes back home!

No1D, you did not phrase the comment correctly. If he has not seen her for a year, he will not want to go anywhere.

Have a couple of hours in one of the casinos - Jasmine Court is nice - take your passports with you or driving licence to make yourselves members then you can come and go as you please in the future with your membership card. Allocate yourself say £30 to lose for the night(!!) then have a laugh trying to work out how it all works. There's food and drink available for free all night too so it's worth it if you decide how much you want to spend on your meal and stick to it!

Yfred/Msg 17: 'I though we had come a long way from clubbing our women, No? wasn't that the caveman speciality.'

It was - and still is in some places!

Ya gotta remember one vital thing tho' - if you drag 'em by the ankles, they're liable to fill up with sand [if on the beach]; so, remember those smart 'caveman rules' and ALWAYS drag 'em by the hair!

"a nice weekend (Friday-Saturday-Sunday) full of activities" - "I will definitely be taking him to Tango to Buddha, but beside that..."

I hope your boyfriend has a lot of money to spend! Now I know why you say "he will never come back". I have a good one for you: Take him to Cratos one of those nights and visit all the bars and restaurants - that will do the trick!
