I did a little shopping around last February and found Türk Sigorta (Türk bank) to be the cheapest at that time.

Try Steve Dickinson 0542 8731231 - he is english and deals directly with ins company. Had claim last year, no excess, no paperwork, no hassle, no fuss - perhaps not the cheapest - but if you need to make a claim he sorts everything out. He is good - reference from retired UK fraud insurance investigator.

Recently changed to Steve Dickinson because the guy we bought the car off said he was good. Wish I`d stayed with Can Sigorta (Previously Gunes) going down the hill on the left in Girne High Street. Had an accident (Not our fault) and the service was superb with no hassle to us at all. Will be changing back when policy expires shortly.

Last year I bought insurance through Turk Bankasi via the Englisg rep, but she's no longer there.

Hi

Just a word of warning... we were witness to Steve Dickinson saying that he would settle our neighbours claim for 400 pounds. After 3 months of chasing him.... he would only pay out 200 pounds!!! He denied ever saying the amount of 400 pounds..... however he said this even afteknowing that we were actual witnesses to this statement!!!



Commercial Insurance for us. They have never been a problem over the last 4 years ..... both for villa and car.

I always place my insurance with Ali Bey, just up the road from the Colony Hotel. 0542 874 4285. Usual disclaimers, no connection, no commission, I just feel I got a good service which is not always the case.

Steve doesn't make promises and then not keep them.
