Wanted Turkish Lira Banknotes 20 Mil, 10 Mil and 5 Million

Hi do any of you have any of the last issue of banknotes in a drawer or old purse/wallet anywhere??

They were replaced a few years ago by the current 20, 10 and 5 tl notes and you can still change them at branches of the Bank of Turkey (or something like that)

I need 2 of each and will pay 50% over face value for very good condition notes to complete a display I made dating back to 1970. Very good condition means free of nicks and creases and generally clean (capable of being pressed flat and looking relatively new)

I have a 10 million, although a bit creased, it would iron. (and a 1 million and a 500 000)

when the million notes were going out of circulation, i collected all the notes and framed them as a gift for my son.....



he jokes now to friends that he has millions.....

Thanks for the replies, I have the notes from 100000 to 1 million and I picked up a couple of 20mil elsewhere, would be very interested in your 5mils Sophie, my house is Lapta just past JK's, are you anywhere near? could you e-mail me simon.mkelly@virgin.net

Thanks for the offer of the 10 Shiela but the creases don't really come out and the other notes are mint condition, cheers.
