I have always been a fan of them, and Acorn antiques (which i posted last year) but i had never actually seen this version of the Famous Five, and thought it was wonderful.



I am always amazed that with todays standards, this team are still soooo funny, with no swearing!! No mean feat!

In the 'Five go mad' series they were actually pointing out the right-wing leanings of Enid Blyton and children's writers of that ilk. They were not trying to be non-PC but satirical.... pointing out far her views were from the acceptable with all but a few white supremacists, bigots and racists.
