The freezing conditions seem never-ending. Minus 12 in Glasgow and -8 here in Dalry.

My daughter took 6 hours to get home from work in Glasgow to Beith - a journey which

normally takes less than an hour by bus - but there were no buses to Ayrshire, or trains at that time.

She jumped on one to the airport and fiancee picked her up, but they didn't reach home until 10.15 pm,

Lots of stories like this, and worse! As you say, Navek, some are enjoying it, and the ski-ing is doing well!
