can you buy planed timber in north cyprus?

cant seem to find some planed timber all rough wood and then take to chippy shop to be planed



any ideas folks looking for planking nice and smooth around 10 inches wide 2.4 meter lengths half inch thick

Yar, the indoor wood shed near to the post office in Girne often have decent planed wood in stock, I say often as it can't be guaranteed. I haven't looked for wood of the dimensions you say but have bought loads of 6x2, 4x2 and 2x1 over the last year or so, planed 4 sides.



I suspect 10" wide planking my be problematic in this climate but thats just my opinion.

I know you are east side if you go west and just before the turning to the Mercure on the right you will see a sort of furniture shop they used to have a very large model cow /horse outside go down the side road where you will find a furniture maker he will cut wood to the size you require. I have been there a couple of times
