What are you using your Dremel for - grinding, sanding, drilling, engraving?

I've got a 110Volt [US model] with 240-110v adaptor - but it has some sort of a problem, either in the drill, or the speed control transformer. It suddenly blew a fuse in the transformer, so I need to do some tests to find out whether, or not, the drill has 'packed a terminal sicky'!

Wow, that takes me back. They were akin to the KTel adverts of 30 years ago. Someone actually bought one then? I am amazed.

yenibob: I was given the Dremel mentioned above - they are way overpriced for this day and age and there are cheapy 'Chinky' equivalents, which are just as good.

emineden1: If you want quality, with more versatility than 'Dremel' - just Google the 'Proxxon' range of mini tools.

No Dremel stockist in the north but you can find Dremel + accessories at Super Home Store's in the south.

Loads of imitations on the market but none match the quality of Dremel.

I have one which i regularly use to grind my dogs nails.
