Lefke football stadium, I think there is a game next saturday against the Pumas, I'm sure it will be publicised nearer the time, come along and support both teams. There is also a sevens tournament in January.

Bonnie, you are so witty ! you obviously know they lost, so why bother asking ? Are you trying to belittle the Warriors efforts ?

I watched the game and thought they played with great spirit. I think their coach deserves great credit for bringing them a long way in a short time. Good luck to you all in the future and watch out Pumas you will soon have real opposition in the North!

Re : Msg 5 - "Bonnie ... you obviously know they lost" Hi BigMart - I can honestly tell you that I didn't know the outcome of the match. However, I presume from the way you & Jefferson replied that they lost by quite a margin :-( In any case, let's hope this sponsorship deal helps them become more of a force to be reckoned with ...

Well done the Warriors, although not at the game My rugby spies tell me they played very well, the losing margin i believe was less than the Pumas, they played the Otomans first then the majority of the oposition went on to play the Pumas (must be fit those Istanbul lads) Looks like Lefke is soon to become the centre of Kibris rugby.
