On the 9th November I decided to give nethouse another chance after having crap service on a 12 month contract 2 years ago .

On the 9/11/10 they installed their satelite dish ,great until the first rains came and we were off for 24hours and now again today bit of rain and no sevice.

What I really object to though is not the fact that the service has gone off but that they have such terrible service they gave me phone numbers that don't work and when I finally found a number it goes to an answer machine which ask if you want to speak english press 0 that done you then get ANOTHER MESSAGE in Turkish a few times until it cuts off, which is basically what it was doing 2 years ago.

I know that someone from nethouse monitors this forum and I sugest that person pulls his finger out and starts giving some service like giving customers a proper phone number for faults and an email address. I have reverted to my telsim dongle thank god I did not sell . I doubt I will renew my Nethouse con

Jefferson .because we have it in work at Bogazkoy and it works well over there so I thought they had sorted out there problems plus you can't connect a vonage phone through a dongle and skype is terrible through a dongle

Had nethouse for 4 years, no problems yet. Bit worried now they are part of Extend, specially since Paul (washerman, ex internet club) seems to be involved. Have paid up to June next year but am already thinking of cancelling after that. A message for Paul (washerman) if you want the crap phone system you charged me £150 for back, for free, you can have it, wouldn't like to stand in an entrepeneurs way, Cyprus needs them, or mebbe not.

Nethouse, Have you tried phoning that number lately? it either does not connect at all giving a message that number is not assigned or when it does connect it goes through a number of options to end up with the line going dead. Also I do not see anywhere on your contract that gives your e.mail address and I do not know our user name as this was not discussed with my wife when the system was installed but if it is of any use to you the three pieces of paper that I have, have serial numbers of 00943 00699 10599 on them. You have recorded my telephone number as 8551176 and my e.mail address as phil.chappell@hotmail.co.uk . The problems with your telephone lines are exactly the same as I had two years ago which always took an eternity to get through to somebody. I suggest that if you wish to retain my custom you get those things sorted out first.

This may have caused the confusion??



Extend merged with Arinet (mostly business internet) about December 2009/January 2010.

We used to have an Arinet shared installation for a private house. For 2 years from December 2007 until the merger/takeover, our Arinet connection was extremely good. As soon as Extend took it over, it went steadily downhill, despite the fact that we upgraded to 1Mbps in June 2010. The new company is now called AMET.

Nethouse has no connection whatsoever with Extend.

I am having nethouse installed on Monday. IT HAD BETTER BE GOOD.

I'd sooner have dial up than use Extend any longer. This was my 2nd period with Extend & things are still no better than they were in Summer 2007, when I used them for just 3 mths before I'd had enough & changed to Arinet.

I've been with nethouse now for three years. Apart from being a bit slow now and again, it's been fine. I must add that I don't need the internet for business purposes, and don't know how to down and upload things either, if that makes any difference.

The number I have for the Kyrenia branch is 0392 816 0843, the other one is 0392 444 0555.

When we went away for two weeks, we froze our account, then opened it when we returned, do other suppliers offer this service.
