We are renting for 6 months next year and are considering shipping our car out for this period. Is it possible to extend the permit from 1 or 3 months (whichever is correct) to cover our stay. Can anyone give me a round trip price to ship our car,or the name of a company who may help us ? Thanks.

The best company to help would be Valentines Removals - they are efficient and knowledgeable. Simply google Valentines Removals Doncaster and they will give you all the information you need.

Euromed do a ro ro ferry no passengers allowed Your car would need 12 months uk tax and mot to save agro and need to be off island before the 12 months is up otherwise its an expensive pumpkin Cheapest way is to drive the car home and back Remember your personal visitors visa on landing is only 90 days so you will personally will need to go off island for an overnight stay(say Turkey) as they check your passport when doing the car so a trip to the rest of cypus does not count so don't fowl up on that one

Whatever you have in mnind as a fair price....Forget that and double it. Nothing is straight forward here and you WILL be ripped off. Buy a bike.

It is very straight forward, Dolphin charge £990 each way, it take 7 days, it travels by car transporter from Enfield to Ferry port in Italy then ferry to Cyprus. Your vehicle can stay in Cyprus on British plates untill you have been there for 365 days in a 2 yr period. As long as you have tax/Mot. You have a months permit when it arrives Famagusta and then go to customs in Nicosia to renew. Last time I went I only wanted one month as I was shipping car to U.K but they insisted on giving me 4 months, thats not bad of them. Much cheaper than hiring car for 6 mnth.
