accoring to the Cyprus Today, the telecomunications are working on the fibre optic cable between Lefkosa and Girne..............

It's 6am to 8am tomorrow, Telekom's official release actually says 06:00-08:00.

Having experience of splicing Fibre Optics and knowing that this particular backbone will have quite few cores to splice I would say 2 hours is a severe underestimate.

Fear the worst.

I read it as saying it would be interrupted during this time, not necessarily off all of the time in all places

I was thrilled to get notkification that it would be off 6-8a.m. This must be a first to be told directly that a facility would be unavailable. How lovely if the electric company could do the same over power cuts.

A huge thank you from me, and I am sure from many others, of the common courtesy and caring that bothered to notify us, and also to undertake the work at a time that would disrupt the least number of lives.

There was no need for Cyprus Today to put a wrong notice in when we were told direct the correct one.

Maz it never fails to surprise me the amount of time that Cyprus Today have made mistakes when the same or should i say the right information is also in Kibris which is produced in the same building.
