Wanted 2nd hand PS2 or where for repairs??

My PS 2 has packed up and with winter nights looming want to get 2nd hand one or find out where I can get repaired.Grateful for any help or offers.Someone must have one tucked away collecting dust while your playing on new PS 3. HELP. Preferably Alsancak area but will travel

Sorry for slow response.

Have you tried a cleaning disc. If the PS2 gets dirt in the laser then it might just be worth trying that 1st.

They get very dusty inside during the summer especially if they are used low down near the ground.

Also if it's just coming up as 'disc read error' then you may just need to adjust the laser (or it might have got 'bumped' by someone....)

I had a couple doing exactly the same thing. I just googled i"PS2 Disc Read error" and there are lots of guides on how to do it, it's REALLY EASY!!!!

I am no techy expert by a long shot and it worked for me..TWICE!!!

If you have any trouble just ask and i will walk you through it. It may work or may not but it won't cost a bean!!
